Penn Brook and GMHS schools have been participating in the after school program at Ski Bradford for more than 50 years!

This social club is run by volunteers in promotional partnership with the PTA, Friends of GYCC and the Georgetown Park and Rec department.  Youths who reside in Georgetown (Grade 3 or higher) or enrolled as a student at either Penn Brook or GMHS are welcome to participate.  This program runs on Wednesdays from to 3 to 7 PM at Ski Bradford starting on the first or second Wednesday in January and runs for six weeks (weather depending).  There is no ski club the week of February vacation.

2026 Season Information

The 2026 Season is set to begin on January 5th and will run for 6 consecutive weeks! Registration will open around October 10th. The last day for registration is December 1st to avoid a $20 late fee. Ski Bradford will not accept any enrollments after December 8th.

Kate and Laura are looking for someone to step up and learn what happens behind the scenes this season. Ideally, this will be someone with connections in the middle or high school to provided consistent leadership in the years to come.

Become a Lodge Monitor

Lodge Monitors are parents who help with signing skiers/boarders in and out each week, as well as remaining in the lodge as a point of contact for any Georgetown skier or boarder who has a question.

You can help sign in 3-5 pm, sign out 5-7 pm or both 

You may volunteer for one or more weeks.  Priority will be given to those who sign up for multiple weeks.

Participate as a Ski Monitor

Monitors are skiing/boarding parents who help new skiers/boarders with getting to lessons on time, getting comfortable on the lift if asked and keeping an eye on all the Georgetown skiers and boarders to ensure a fun, safe environment for all.

You may volunteer for one or more weeks.  Priority will be given to those who sign up for multiple weeks.
